History
Ruth Bucher was born and raised in
Switzerland. A first visit to the USA as an exchange student left her with the
dream of coming back. In 1991 she realized this dream and came to Texas.
The
desire for a career change led Ruth to the massage therapy profession,
and in May 1995, she graduated from Hands-on Therapy School of Massage
in Garland, TX. There she was first introduced to the TRAGER® Approach
in a continuing education class in 1997. In 2000 she earned her
certification as TRAGER® Practitioner. In 2020 she became a TRAGER®
Tutor and is currently working on becoming a TRAGER® Instructor.
As a Massage Therapy Instructor and NCBTMB Approved Continuing
Education Provider, Ruth is presenting Introductory Workshops and
continuing education for Massage Therapists in TX since 2014. She has
presented CE classes at the AMTA TX Chapter Conventions in 2018 and
2022.
Ruth is consistently continuing her education and advancing her knowledge in
the massage therapy and bodywork field.
MissionRuth's ultimate goal as a massage
therapist and bodywork practitioner is to assist her clients in achieving
optimal health, including relief from stress and pain by natural means, and to provide
her clients with the best possible care.
Part of this goal is to introduce
the TRAGER® Approach to more clients, and extend knowledge
about this wonderful Somatic Movement Therapy Modality to massage
therapists and healthcare practitioners in the DFW area and beyond.
